College Apps + FAFSA

AI-ready: Includes an optional AI teacher. Optimized for Grok; works on other AI platforms.

A practical, deadline-focused guide to starting college applications and the FAFSA the right way and on time.

What students learn

Students learn the difference between a college application (“Will they take you?”) and the FAFSA (“Will the government help pay?”). They go over what each one needs: transcripts, essays, recommendations, and deadlines for applications, and a StudentAid.gov account (one for the student and one for each parent or spouse the form requires), Social Security numbers, and tax information for the FAFSA. After a walkthrough of the Common App and StudentAid.gov, students start their own StudentAid.gov account or Common App profile in class. They leave with a list of the documents they still need and their earliest deadline.
